Maggie and I had a magical time with these capachos, olive oil pressing mats, that were found around the house at Materia Prima in Chinchón.

We were both drawn to their dynamic form and organic material and wanted to move with, and capture these qualities. Through a natural, quiet exploration, we dove into improvised movement. The images sought to freeze in time the feeling of moving through a space with a mythical stillness.
